Hachiman is the ancient Shinto god or kami of war, divination, and culture. Hachiman continues to be worshipped at thousands of shrines of both faiths around the country, including the Todaiji in Nara and Hachiman shrine in Kamakura.
Often referred to the God of War, Hachiman is one of the most popular Shintō deities of Japan; the patron deity of the Minamoto clan and of warriors in general.
We've designed the floor mats to showcase The Spirit of Hachiman and his temple. The temple below is decorated with dragon heads, fallen swords from samurai's and his spirit erupting from the pillars.
